About Us
Birth Partners instructor Angie Scharnhorst has been trained by the American Academy of Husband-Coached Childbirth in Sherman Oaks, CA., as a natural childbirth instructor.
She received her training as a doula from the Academy of Certified Birth Educators and Labor Support Professionals in Olathe, KS. She is first-responder certified through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and the Kansas Board of Emergency Medical Services. Angie works with a group of other doulas in the Kansas City area to ensure that all clients have 24-hour-access to assistance when needed.
